Position Overview

FORTUNE HOUSE NETWORK COMPANY LIMITED/WAJE is seeking a Trilingual Translator and Product Localization Specialist to support communication between our HQ and local African teams.

The role will focus on online-product translation, content localisation and interpretation for meetings, training and operational discussions.

Experience in Betting, iGaming, Online Casino, FinTech, mobile payments or other digital products will be preferred.

Language Requirements

  • Mandarin Chinese
  • English
  • Swahili.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate written content between Chinese, English and the relevant local language.
  • Localise online-product interfaces, buttons, menus, system messages and user instructions.
  • Translate product rules, promotional content, bonus terms and player communications.
  • Translate payment, deposit, withdrawal, KYC and account-verification instructions.
  • Translate customer-service scripts, FAQs, training materials and internal procedures.
  • Support the translation of compliance, responsible gaming and regulatory documents.
  • Provide consecutive interpretation during online and in-person meetings.
  • Support interpretation during training, interviews, supplier discussions and product-testing activities.
  • Review translated content for accuracy, consistency and local cultural suitability.
  • Build and maintain multilingual terminology glossaries for gaming, payments, products and operations.
  • Test translated content on websites and mobile products and report unclear, incorrect or incomplete text.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling internal, commercial, employee and player information.

Requirements

Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, English and the relevant local language.

Strong written English and local-language skills.

  • Ability to communicate accurately in spoken Mandarin Chinese.
  • At least two years of translation, localisation or interpretation experience.
  • Experience translating websites, mobile applications, online products or operational documents.
  • Ability to provide consecutive interpretation during business meetings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain terminology consistency.
  • Good understanding of local culture, language usage and consumer behaviour.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, online documents and communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Betting, iGaming

Online

Casino, FinTech, mobile payments or digital entertainment.

  • Familiarity with gaming terminology, bonuses, deposits, withdrawals and account verification.
  • Experience working with Chinese companies or international project teams.
  • Experience using translation-memory, terminology-management or localisation tools.
  • Chinese proficiency equivalent to HSK Level 5 or above would be an advantage.
