Job Summary

The Data Centre Operations Supervisor manages site operations and technical staff in a 24/7 data centre environment. This role oversees shift deployment, maintains operational report standards, and ensures immediate, effective responses to emergency fault situations.

Key Requirements & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience

2–3 years of experience in data centre operations, telecommunications, facilities management, or electrical maintenance.

Leadership

1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience managing site-based technical teams is preferred.

Operations & Scheduling

Proven track record in shift scheduling, leave planning, and managing 24/7 operational coverage.

Reporting & Execution

Strong capacity to prepare, review, and submit accurate operational reports on schedule.

Incident Management

Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize tasks, and resolve fault situations swiftly.

Work Schedule

Willingness to work flexible hours, rotational shifts, weekends, and handle on-call emergency responses.

Certifications

Relevant

professional

engineering registration or technical certifications are an added advantage.
