5 Journalists / News Writers

to join our editorial team.

We are looking for people who have studied

Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field

and who can follow developing stories, research information, verify facts, and write clear and engaging news articles within deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Follow news developments and identify stories that are relevant to our readers.
  • Research, write and submit accurate news stories within set deadlines.
  • Follow breaking news and provide timely updates as stories develop.
  • Verify facts, sources, names, dates and other important details before publication.
  • Conduct interviews and gather additional information where necessary.
  • Research background information to make stories complete and useful to readers.
  • Write clear, engaging headlines and well-structured articles.
  • Follow news leads and maintain reliable sources and contacts.
  • Produce original content and avoid copying or reproducing articles from other websites.
  • Work closely with the editorial team and respond quickly to assigned stories.
  • Update published stories when new and verified information becomes available.
  • Maintain accuracy and good journalistic standards even when working under deadline pressure.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Good news judgement and ability to identify important stories.
  • Strong research and fact-checking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to write quickly without compromising accuracy.
  • Good understanding of digital news publishing.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and online content publishing will be an added advantage.
  • Previous journalism or news-writing experience will be an added advantage.
