Job Purpose

Oversee end-to-end supply chain, local procurement, logistics, and inventory management to support Jaza Energy’s rapid expansion of solar-powered battery hubs across Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

Develop demand forecasts, supply chain strategies, and weekly/monthly performance reports.

Procurement

Lead local purchasing, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure 100% compliance with company purchasing policies.

Logistics & Customs

Manage inbound/outbound freight, optimize transport costs, oversee warehousing, and handle import/customs clearance.

Data & Process

Monitor inventory accuracy, track OTIF delivery, optimize CAPEX per site, and automate workflows.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.

2+ years of experience in supply chain, vendor management, and Tanzanian import/procurement regulations.

Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and IT/data

analysis skills

.

High ethical standards and strict adherence to anti-bribery policies.
