Financial Accountant vacancy at Habili & Co. Ltd (HCL)

HABILI & CO. LTD (HCL) is a registered company in Tanzania providing a total solution for heavy Earthmoving equipment spare parts.

In alignment with the vision and mission of the company HCL is looking for energetic, motivated and self-driven personnel who will be responsible in.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate recording of financial transactions in appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts

Conducting timely reconciliations of General Ledger and Sub-ledgers

Performing periodic GL reviews, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper classification of transactions

Monitoring and ensure accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Coordinating financial data and reports from various departments.

Preparing periodic and annual financial reports for management and regulatory Authorities

Identifying control weaknesses and support remedial actions to enhance financial governance and risk management.

Participating in periodic internal control reviews and process

Acting as Liaison in Tax and Audit

Performing bank, supplier, and sales reconciliations

Required skills and competencies

Excellent skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and GL management

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Good understanding of internal controls and audit processes
