Role Overview

Park Hyatt Zanzibar is looking for a passionate and dedicated

Assistant Housekeeping Manager

to support daily departmental operations. In this role, you will lead a motivated team to maintain the highest standards of luxury, cleanliness, and safety across guest rooms and public areas while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the department.

Quality Standards

Maintain consistent adherence to Hyatt brand standards for cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.

Team Leadership

Supervise, train, coach, and develop the housekeeping team to foster high performance and motivation.

Inventory & Admin

Help manage inventory control, laundry/linen supplies, and departmental administrative tasks.

Guest Satisfaction

Address guest requests promptly and maintain operational efficiency to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Diploma, Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience within a housekeeping department (preferably in a hotel environment).

Core Skills

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and high service standards.
